أشرف سعادة عيسى عبدالله الباشه النعيمي سفير الدولة لدى باكستان على المراسم النهائية لتسليم جائزة حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم-اليونسكو لمكافأة الممارسات والجهود المتميزة لتحسين أداء المعلمين إلى مؤسسة علي للتعليم في لاهور- باكستان التي فازت بهذه الجائزة. وتأسست جائزة حمدان-اليونسكو في عام 2009 بالتعاون مع منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو).
وتم تسليم الجائزة الى مدير المؤسسة شاهد مجيد في مقر المؤسسة بمدينة لاهور بحضور المسؤولين بالمؤسسة. وأكد سعادة السفير في كلمته على أهمية الجائزة ومقاصدها والمبادرات الإنسانية والخيرية التي يطلقها سمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي وزير المالية لتشجيع التنمية البشرية وفتح آفاق رحبة للأجيال الناشئة في مختلف أرجاء العالم وتوفير فرص التعليم والرعاية الاجتماعية لهم.
و عبر السيد/ مجيد، مدير المؤسسة الفائزة في كلمته عن شكره وتقديره لسمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم لتكرمه بالجائزة التي تتكون من الأجهزة التعليمية الداعمة مثل: الكمبيوترات وأجهزة عرض متطورة ومولدات كهربائية وسيارة بالإضافة إلى صيانة عدد من الفصول الدراسية في المركز، وتُؤمن هذه المؤسسة خدمات لتطوير أداء المعلمين في كافة أنحاء إقليم البنجاب الذي يعد من أكبر الأقاليم في باكستان.
