اختتم يوم الخميس الموافق 10 أبريل 2014 في فندق الانتركونتيننتال بدبي برنامج الإرشاد الطلابي الذي نظمته جائزة حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم للأداء التعليمي المتميز كجزء من مشروع إعداد الطلبة المتميزين والذي تنفذه الجائزة من منطلق رؤيتها في تحقيق الريادة في قيادة تميز الأداء التعليمي ورعاية الموهوبين، حيث استهدف المشروع عدد من الطلبة الذين شاركوا في الجائزة في منافسات دورتها الـ "16" والذين لم يحققوا درجة التميز المؤهلة للفوز بالجائزة وذلك للوقوف على نقاط الضعف لديهم وتوجيهم لتطوير مهاراتهم والارتقاء بإمكانياتهم وتقديم المشورة فيما يتعلق بالاستعداد للدورة القادمة.
وقد تلقى المستهدفون تدريباً في مهارات التعامل مع معايير الجائزة، حيث تم الاستعانة بخبيرة التحكيم كلثم البوادي لتقديم الورش باعتبارها من الخبرات المقيمة والراصدة بدقة لجوانب القوة والضعف في المشاركات التي خاضت منافسات الجائزة. وتطرقت خبيرة التحكيم إلى شرح معايير الجائزة بطريقة تفصيلية ودقيقة، وكذلك تدريب المستهدفين على كيفية المواءمة بين معايير الجائزة وأدائهم في مجالات الأنشطة والمبادرات الشخصية وروح الإبداع والابتكار والتفوق التعليمي، وتشجيعهم على بذل المزيد من الجهد في الوفاء بمتطلبات الفوز من أنشطة مجتمعية ومدرسية ومهارات معرفية وتحصيل دراسي.
وافادت خولة بحلوق مديرة التميز التعليمي في الجائزة أن البرنامج استهدف الطلبة وأولياء أمورهم بهدف رفع معنوياتهم بعد حالة الإحباط المتوقعة من عدم اجتيازهم متطلبات ومعايير التميز وبالتالي إخفاقهم في الفوز بالجائزة في هذه الدورة ، واضافت أن خطة الجائزة للوفاء بحاجة فئات الجائزة من التدريب تقتضي بعقد ورش تدريبية للمستهدفين من عناصر المنظومة التعليمية على المعايير بصورة واضحة ودقيقة، مضيفةً أن ذلك يعكس اهتمام الميدان التعليمي بالجائزة ورغبتها في تحقيق التميز وهو ما يتسق مع رؤية الجائزة في ترسيخ منهجية التميز في الثقافة التعليمية.
