Fab Lab UAE

UAE Fab Lab is a digital fabrication centre & Innovation Incubator, launched under the initiatives of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Education Sciences. It was established in 2015 as part of the foundation's Innovation Year initiatives. The lab aims to provide an integrated educational and creative environment that helps innovators of all ages turn their creative ideas into reality by using the latest technologies and tools. It is accredited by Fab Foundation. Fab Lab UAE is considered one of the pioneering initiatives that bridges the gap between creative ideas and practical application, contributing to sustainable development across various fields.

Objectives of Fab Lab UAE

  • Supporting Innovation and Creativity:
    Empowering talented individuals and innovators to design prototypes and develop their ideas using advanced tools.
  • Promoting Digital Fabrication Culture:
    Spreading the concepts of digital fabrication among youth and the community through workshops and educational activities.
  • Encouraging Entrepreneurship:
    Assisting entrepreneurs and innovators in designing marketable products and building entrepreneurial projects.
