His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched an initiative aiming to encourage research "the best local application" in 2003,

after several sessions in which the award succeeded in achieving educational quality.

The award tended to strengthen the general framework of research and made an amendment to it.

Educational research at the level of the Arab world in 2007 As it continued to attract distinguished educational research that influenced the Arab library,

and within the framework of the strategic partnership with the Arab League Educational,

Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in 2021,

the "Hamdan-ALECSO Award for Distinguished Educational Research" was announced,

and the award seeks to discover and encourage distinguished educational researchers from among the Arabs.

 

Familiarizing them with them and disseminating practices among those concerned in the educational field to benefit from them,

in addition to enriching and enriching the Arab educational library with distinguished research in accordance with international standards to occupy its place among the international awards.
